How it works

SIMPATHIC (Similarity-based Pathology Informed Combination therapy) is a framework developed within the REPO4EU project that enables drug repurposing by identifying pathological similarities—both clinical and molecular—across diseases. It leverages multi-omics data and clinical phenotypes to map disease relationships and predict effective drug candidates based on shared pathological mechanisms.
